Within the scope of the “Regulation on Fluorinated Greenhouse Gases” published in the Official Gazette dated June 29, 2022, and numbered 31881, Equipment Operator data entries and Technical Service leakage control approval processes have been rendered mandatory through the Central Database of F-Gas Equipment Operators operating under the National Environmental Information System.
In alignment with this regulation, performing periodic leakage controls is a statutory obligation for all refrigeration and HVAC systems containing fluorinated greenhouse gases with a capacity of 5 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent or above. Furthermore, for operations managed through the operators central database management system, technical service firms intervening with equipment that contains or relies on fluorinated greenhouse gases must hold the TS 13905 Service Competence Certificate, while the executing technical personnel are required to possess the official Vocational Qualification Certificate.
